[Unanswered] How to make a block like a clock

I want to make a block that acts like a clock, but you can place it. I have made a texture and coded it to just stand, but I want to make it actually work. Is there a code for that?

That's what I thought. I just need to find the area where the code is or where the code goes. I'm pretty sure the code is the same as Timer.java, but I'm not sure

why not look in the redstonerepeaterblock.java and see how it does time then what you could do is have a group of blocks and it changes into them
