Installer

So i can make a simple GUI with a button i was just wondering if you could make some tutorial to make the code for it to install if you know how to do it.

What do you mean by this? If you mean make an external tool I am working on one now, so I can post a tutorial when I am done.

I mean like you run a jar file and a simple GUI pops up and you hit install and it installs a mod.
I can make the GUI with the button i just need the code so it will install the mod.

Okay. That is a bit different then I was doing. I don't know how this would be done. I am working on a installer that would do pretty much the same thing, but in BASIC.

So it would install a mod just be in a console?

No it would be a GUI still but it would be harder to understand if you don't know BASIC. I will put up an example of my code when I finish. Also if you want I can make you an installer as long as you give me credit.

Yeah I am still working on it although it is probably insanely simple and I am doing it the hard way. That's how things normally work around me.
